Our new clock selection comes from River City Clocks and is based on their available stock. If you have seen a River City Clock style that we do not currently list, ask — we may be able to arrange it for you (no promises, but we will try).
Before You Adopt — Important Notes
Please read these notes carefully, especially for vintage clocks:
- Vintage clocks are not new. They may have small dings or scratches. We only replace what is necessary to make them run and cuckoo, to preserve as much of the original clock as possible.
- Regulating the time. If your clock runs fast or slow, the most likely cause is that the pendulum was disturbed. Move the ornament on the pendulum up to make it go faster, or down to slow it down. You won't need to move it much.
- Carvings. If a carving had to be fixed or replaced, it may not match the original color or shape exactly. We think that adds originality.
- Cuckoo vs. Quail. Pay attention to whether the clock is a cuckoo or a quail — they sound different. This is noted in each clock's description.
- Adoption fees. Vintage clock pricing reflects that these are not new clocks. If you want a brand-new clock, see the River City options above.
- Clock repair. If you already have a clock you want fixed, contact us. We are not movement specialists, but we will do our best to help or point you in the right direction.
- Returns. If you are not satisfied, we offer a refund within 14 days of receiving your clock. Please notify us before returning the clock. We want you and the clock to both be happy.
